The School of Engineering aims to be adaptive and responsive to the challenges of technical training for a global economy.

We are committed to providing quality engineering courses for school leavers and adult learners so as to nurture :

•  Technological, methodological and social competencies that are relevant to industry demands;

•  Innovation and technopreneurship; and

•  Values and attributes that promote adaptability and resilience to enhance employability in an ever-changing global economy.


The School of Engineering offers students with a wide range of Diploma, Higher Nitec, Nitec courses to match their interest and they are as follows:

•  Facility Technology

•  Electrical Engineering

•  Rapid Transit Technology

•  Mechanical Engineering

•  Mechatronics Engineering

•  Automotive Engineering (Technical Engineer Diploma)

•  Automotive Technology

Our Engineering students also take up modules in non-core fields such as Communication Skills, Personal & Interpersonal Effectiveness and Career Development & Planning, grooming them to be more than a technician - versatile, confident and independent individuals who will excel in their areas of work.

The School of Electronics & Info-Comm Technology seeks to equip ITE graduates with globally-competitive skills.

The school is committed to:

•  meet the needs of Singapore workforce by offering full-time education to post-secondary students as part of pre-employment training;

•  update our graduates with career-relevant skills by offering part-time education programmes; and

•  collaborate extensively with local and international partners to stay responsive to the needs of the labour market.

The School of Hospitality conducts various hospitality-related and service courses at the Higher Nitec and Nitec levels, to support the following key operational areas of:

• Culinary Arts

• Pastry and Baking

• Food & Beverage

• Hotel Operations

The outlook for Singapore’s tourism and hospitality sector has been extremely encouraging with the continuous growth of Asia and Singapore’s continued ability to attract foreign investments and high profile events like the Singapore Grand Prix and Youth Olympics. The launch of the two integrated resorts (IR) of Resorts World, Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands has also spurred the growth of the industry with the need for more service-related workers. 

We envisage our graduates to be well-skilled in their respective areas of training and be immediately effective to the organizations they seek employment with.  They would be the first choice employees of the hospitality industry, possessing the right attitudes and service excellence mind-set.

The School of Hospitality is committed in providing its students an authentic training environment, with the use of key industrial tools, equipments and service concepts for the students to:

School of Business and Services @ ITE College West aims to offer students a conducive environment that encourages entrepreneurship, teamwork and creativity. Also, it aims to be adaptive and responsive to the challenges of business training for a global economy. All in all, the school seeks to deliver innovative training and quality education so as to produce enterprising and employable graduates.

The Overseas Experiential Programme provides students opportunities to develop a global mindset and a caring heart for the global community. Students will also acquire personal and interpersonal effectiveness skills, team work and necessary life skills. Eventually, students will develop to be caring Singaporeans through sustainable and meaningful projects.
